PechaKucha Night at Mother Stewart's Brewery

Date:
Thursday, December 19, 2024 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Frank Lloyd Wright's Westcott House and Mother Stewart's Brewery are partnering on a special holiday edition of PechaKucha Night.

The theme for this PechaKucha is Salad Bowl, which is a metaphor for a multicultural society where different cultures are integrated while maintaining their individual identities. This event is a celebration of the cultural richness of our community.

PechaKucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works, thoughts, holiday snaps, etc. Anyone can present - this is the beauty of PechaKucha Nights. The idea was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. Since then it has morphed into a massive celebration with events in more than 1,200 cities around the world. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of chitchat, it rests on a simple and momentum driven presentation format: 20 images x 20 seconds.

This event is free to the public and hosted at Mother Stewart's Brewery, 102 West Columbia Street, Springfield, OH 45504.
