Summer Camp Experience for Students Ages 7-9.
Monday, July 21st - Friday, July 25th, 9am-12:30pm. Friday program will be extended through 1:30pm to celebrate and showcase students' work to the family and friends.
Limited to 12 students. Program fee: $95.
About the program: This summer, kids will become budding architects at the Frank Lloyd Wright’s Westcott House! This program offers a combination of hands-on activities encouraging kids to learn, think, design, build, and create. Throughout the week, students will explore the Westcott House up close, learn through exploration of Wright design, create several works of art, and build their own mini Westcott House using multiple art techniques. Our camp includes sessions at our Solar House which gives our young campers an opportunity to experience and explore sustainable design. At the end of the week, students will learn how to curate and present their own gallery exhibition using all of their design projects.
Scholarships: We offer support for the families for whom the registration fee is a barrier to participation. Four full scholarships will be granted on first come first served basis. To apply please complete this form.
This program is supported by the Ohio Arts Council's Arts Partnership Grant.
